The Sustainable City Awards
The sole aim of the Sustainable City Awards is to recognise and reward best practice in environmental management and sustainable leadership. With more than 250 businesses applying in 2014, this year’s competition is set to be a hotly contested affair. The awards are open to all organisations; the list of previous winners includes charities, community groups, small family-run businesses and multinational companies. This year the awards have two new categories Sustainable Places and Health and Wellbeing. With no fee for entering and no charge for attending the awards ceremony, there really is no excuse for not entering.
