What do the winners receive?

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion awards are for life

Winners are invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace, where they receive an engraved crystal chalice.

How does the nomination process work?

You can’t nominate yourself for an award, but you can be put forward by a third-party. There is no entry fee.

A judging panel assess the nominees and makes recommendations to the Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee.

This committee then makes their own assessments and presents a list of recommended candidates to the Queen, who ultimately decides the winners.
