Queen’s Award 2017 deadline brought forward!

The most prestigious business award in the UK, if not the world, the 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise celebrates its 50th birthday today alongside her Majesty’s 90th birthday.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise have today announced 243 winners in the 2016 competition. That is a massive 72% increase on 2015.

The biggest increase is in the Innovation category which has gone from 24 winners in 2015 to 92 this year. For the International Trade category, the figures have gone from 105 to 150 this year and in the Sustainable Development category the number of winners has fallen from 12 to 7.

Awards Intelligence are proud to announce a staggering 90% success rate over the past two years – that’s 26 wins for our clients from 29 entries. Congratulations to all our happy winners and we hope you come back for a 2017 win!

Now open for the 2017 round, The Queen’s Awards are the pinnacle of the business awards calendar.  Aimed at businesses of all sizes, from small innovative private companies to large FTSE organisations, these awards will highlight your successes in a way that no other award in the world can match. As long as you are a UK business or not-for-profit organisation with at least two staff, you are eligible.

The benefits of winning this competition are incredible, with previous winners reporting that winning has enabled them to grow their business, expand in to new markets and open many doors to new opportunities.

Winning a Queen’s Award is no mean feat, which is why we have committed the necessary time to understanding every single element of the competition so that we can identify the organisations that demonstrate a winner’s profile.

Entry to the 2017 awards closes on Friday 2 September 2016 and it is a long, time-consuming process so you should plan ahead and start the ball rolling as soon as possible if you are seriously interested in winning.

We can help you by professionally handling your entry from start to finish. The entry process is rigorous, and there is no doubt that with our help you will significantly increase your chances of success and save valuable time. On average, we spend 75 hours on each entry.

Mark Llewellyn-Slade, our CEO commented:

“I suspect they have brought the entry deadline forward for 2017 to give themselves more time for judging as they have increased the number of winners. That’s great news for you as you will have a better chance of winning. We are limiting the number of clients we take on for the 2017 round, on a first come, first served basis so don’t dilly dally if you are serious about winning. If you leave it to the last minute you are likely to be disappointed. With an epic 90% average win rate over the last two years, that’s 26 wins from 29 entries, working with us is a no-brainer.”

Let our team of experts take care of your entry and give you that ‘90% winning edge’. We will also free up your time to focus on your core responsibilities.
