Green Apple Awards 2015

The Green Apple Awards are a must win for any organisation that wants to highlight it’s enviromental best practice.
While the Scottish Green Apple Awards and the International Green Apple Awards for the Built Environment and Architectural Heritage have closed for 2015, the Green Apple Awards for Commerce and Industry for Environmental Best Practice are still accepting applications for the 2015 edition of these awards – the deadline is 30th June 2015.
The Green Apple Awards are one of an elite group of awards accredited by the RSA. Stemming from this, they act as a feeder scheme into the European Business Awards for the Environment.
Receiving a Green Apple Award can act as stepping-stone to international recognition and the list of previous winners bears testament to this. In addition to this, many previous winners have also taken on the status of International Green Hero by assisting others around the world to help the environment.
The Green Apple Awards for the environment are also one of only a handful of awards to survey the opinions of previous winners to gauge the award’s impact on their organisation.
The results of the survey provide 5 very good reasons to enter the awards:
95% said their employees are proud of the company’s success
93% benefited from coverage on radio, newspapers or TV
88% said the benefits exceeded their expectations
73% found they had won business as a result
42% believe the value of their business had increased
So the question is: Can you really afford not to enter?
Open to individuals and organisations of all sizes and from any sector or industry
Entrants should have made a positive impact on the environment or adopted measure to improve sustainability
Deadline: 30th June 2014
