The FSB WorldPay Business Awards are designed to raise the profile of small businesses across the UK and to highlight the crucial role they play in supporting the economy.
All applications must be received by 31st January 2014.
Young Entrepreneur of the Year (you need to be 30 or younger)
Micro Business of the Year (up to 10 employees)
Online Business of the Year (up to 250 employees)
Business Innovation of the Year (up to 250 employees)
Last year’s winners included: Armits Autos (Young Entrepreneur), Atelier Millinery (Micro Business of the Year), My Little Angels (Online Business of the Year) and Vegware (Business Innovation and overall winner of the awards).
Ian Dyer, FSB Somerset and Wiltshire Regional Chairman, said: “Last year was the first time we ran the awards and the SME business community’s response was overwhelming. We had more than 600 entries and we are hopeful that we’ll beat that figure this year.
“Small retailers, craftsmen, manufacturers, service providers and specialists are the driving force of Britain’s economy and our nationwide award scheme is specifically designed to highlight the importance of small businesses in Britain and to recognise and celebrate their success.”
