EACA Care Awards 2014

The EACA Care Awards seek to recognise excellence in social marketing. The awards are an integral part of EACA’s overall commitment to promote Corporate Social Responsibility. Each year the best work is honoured at the annual awards ceremony, a fantastic evening that celebrates the advertising industry’s specific contribution to society.
 
The Awards cover a wide range of subjects from public health, the environment, sustainable consumption and human rights, to domestic violence, child abuse, homelessness and education.
 
Selected winners will be included in the ACT Responsible Online Gallery and eligible for selection in the ACT Responsible World Tour Exhibition.

Call for entries: 22 January 2014 to 4 April 2014
Judging Round 1: 23 April 2014 to 6 June 2014
Judging Round 2: – TBC
Care Awards Ceremony: – TBC
 
Eligibility:
The competition is open to any agency, media owner, company, organisation, or association.
Campaigns must have live between 1 January and 31 December 2013. 
Campaigns launched prior to 1 January 2013 are eligible only if they were live in the qualifying period.
Entries should be submitted in English but the creative work may be in any European language. 
 
Categories
Entries are judged in four categories:
 
Non-profit Organisations and Non-governmental Bodies – An organisation that exists for educational or charitable reasons with no participation or representation of any government.
 
Government Bodies and Related Organisations – An organisation that is the governing authority of a political unit
 
Local and Regional Authorities – Government departments which make decisions on a local or regional level
 
Corporate Governance (CSR) – For commercial operators to enter campaigns that promote care for the community, safety, the environment and for the development of young people.
