Support Christian Aid

Give a Bangladeshi child the gift of education and help set them up for a brighter future.

Our Contribution

We aim to fund a whole school by the end of 2012 supporting around 200 children. In 2013 we plan to do the same. But to achieve this we need your help.

Every time you refer a new client to us or instruct us to draft a nomination for you we will pay for a Bangladeshi child to go to school for a year. It’s as simple as that. This applies to business award entries, Queen’s honours nominations and applications to the House of Lords.

Finding a primary school is a big challenge for many parents in Bangladesh. Often the nearest school is too far away, or lessons aren't taught in the community's language. Christian Aid partner organisation CCDB has set up primary schools in remote areas, trained staff and produced textbooks in local languages. Schools like these have been a great success and many children have been able to go on to high school to continue their education.
