2008 Best Manufacturing IT Awards invite entries

13/02/2008 - News Update: Manufacturing Computer Solutions

Manufacturing Computer Solutions' annual Best of British Manufacturing IT Awards recognise the very best IT strategies and implementations in the British manufacturing industry.

The awards aim to promote the critical business value of IT, across functions and departments, in underpinning and enabling superior business processes, competitiveness and profitability for UK plc.

Categories are:

-IT in Manufacturing/Business Management
-IT in Supply Chain Management
-IT in Engineering Design and Development
-IT and Network Infrastructure
-IT in Plant and Factory Improvement

The awards are presented to the end-user manufacturing and engineering organisations however the main IT and nominating partner(s) on each winning and high commended project will also be recognised for their contributions.

All submitted projects will be assessed by a senior panel of independent judges - consultants, analysts, practitioners and serving operations directors, who together have vast experience of industrial and business IT.

Deadline for entry is 25 April
