Global Business Excellence Awards open for applications
03/03/2010 - News Update: GBE Awards
Open to private, public and third sector organisations of any size, this prestigious award wants to hear from dynamic organisations that are delivering great work. You do not have to be conducting business internationally to enter.
There are no rigid categories as the Award is a mark of business excellence so you are not competing directly against other organisations in the same category. The judges want to hear about what makes you stand out from the crowd so you need to send them a written submission of up to 1,000 words along with supporting material. The judges then decide on appropriate, bespoke, categories which accurately reflect the subject of the winning entries.
Passed winners of this coveted award include cutting edge SMEs like Talk to the Press and Phoebus Software, large companies such as EDF Energy and Lloyds Banking Group, public sector organisations like NHS County Durham, Islington Council and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service along with charities including as Swanswell.
Due to the global nature of the award there is no formal awards dinner, instead winners are notified in writing and can then take advantage of a range of marketing benefits.
The judges provide invaluable positive comments for winners to use in press releases, on their website and to support marketing campaigns, free of charge.
Winners are invited to join the judging panel which further enhances their reputation and profile.
The next deadline for entry is 31 March and winners will be notified by mid-April. The programme is ongoing with a deadline of the last working day of each month.
