Categories open for entry are:
Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Open to all organisations with no more than £25 million turnover in their last financial year.
Innovation Award This Award will be presented to the organisation with an innovation that has transformed their business.
The Health, Work and Well-being Award Awarded to the organisation that can best demonstrate how it has worked to sustain the health and well-being of its workforce to the mutual benefit of the staff and the organisation.
The Health, Work and Well-being Award for Small Business Open to organisations with less than 250 employees that can best demonstrate how it understands the link between staff well-being and improved performance and has made the health and well-being of its workforce a key part of its day to day operation
Corporate Responsibility Award Entries are welcomed from organisations that can best demonstrate a company-wide commitment to Corporate Responsibility.
Growth Strategy of the Year This Award recognises organic growth strategy (rather than merger and acquisition activity) that has achieved outstanding levels of sales, profit and market share improvement.
The BlackBerry Customer Focus Award Presented to the organisation that can best demonstrate that it truly has the customer at the heart of its business.
Customer Focus Award for Small Business This trophy will be awarded to an organisation with less than 250 employees that can best demonstrate that it truly has the customer at the heart of its business.
The Entrepreneur of the Year This Award will go to the outstanding individual who can best demonstrate exceptional vision and leadership in the establishment and development of an owner-led business
Excellence in Marketing Award For a specific marketing campaign in the period 1 January 2009 to 31 May 2010 that has achieved high levels of commercial success for the featured products or services.
Employer of the Year Recognising an organisation that can best demonstrate how it has applied its human and supporting resources to achieve and sustain commercial and competitive success.
The Better Regulation Award *OPEN FOR ENTRIES IN MAY 2010* The Award will go to the organisation that is making the biggest difference by helping businesses comply with the law as simply as possible, delivering better outcomes and creating a more effective operating environment for UK businesses through better regulation practices.
The Awards are open to both public and private sector organisations. Entries must be completed by 23 June.
